There is a growing and deep appreciation for artisanal work created in developing communities. Products that are created within a community to support and work towards a healthier, happier standard of living have a way of resonating with consumers. The idea that one can in some way help another human being across the world can be both humbling and empowering. It’s this poignant understanding of the link between product, culture and community that makes BRAC and it’s fashion retail brand Aarong’s so viable.
To help understand the complex and unique challenges we lead week long discovery and cultural exploratory sessions in Bangladesh. Through these sessions we were able to define a comprehensive online brand strategy and lead the creative direction for both desktop and responsive solutions.
